This shotgun from Serbu was not made for bird hunting. The Super Shorty by Serbu could possibly be the shortest 12 guage pump shotgun available. It is based on the Mossberg Maverick but available for the Mossberg 500 or the Remington 870 for an extra charge. Holds 2-2 3/4″ shells and then one in the chamber.
I own a serbu super shorty Mossberg 500. I’ve had it for about 5 years now and I really like it, It is destructive at close range, if you put some double aught buck or slugs in it, better brace yourself! It does have a brutal recoil. With birdshot its not bad though. Its just a blast to shoot!
You must live in a wonderful state (read NOT California). I’m guessing TX maybe? They tend to like their shooters over there. Shoot a box or two for me would ya?
