Gill’s Custom Leather originally started with the owner (a career fireman) wanting to teach his two teenage boys a new craft. Most metal detecting tools come with cheap sheaths that don’t last very long so Gill’s started crafting leather sheaths for metal detecting tools. They have since started crafting custom knife sheaths and pistol holders as well. All of their items are handcrafted from heavy, vegetable tanned, tooling leather and can be done in 8 different colors. The guys over at Gill’s Custom Leather are doing a good thing!
